The Palatine Area Community Marching Band was founded in 2008 as a summer course offered by the Palatine Park District. The purpose of the group is to provide a summer performance opportunity to adults and high school students in the Northwest suburbs. Our hope was to bring together current and former musicians in a fun and active music making environment to provide entertainment for the surrounding community. We began by performing in the Palatine Jaycees Independence Day Parade. In 2009, we added a performance in the Brookfield Zoo “Boo at the Zoo” parade. Now in our 6th year, PACMB will be performing again this year and are continuing to eagerly accept new members! Our members span a large age range and come from a variety of professions but we all enjoy working together as a team in order to prepare for performances. We hope you will join us!
